Light and Darkness have always captivated me, at times stunning and consuming me as an artist. As a result, my work explores both ends of the spectrum and the dichotomy that seems to exist in all things. It is informed by my life experiences and challenges. I have experienced periods of incredible darkness as well as incandescence, and although in many ways this has made life difficult, it has also been my greatest gift.
Although my work is diverse, it always shares the same process. I begin with a concept or feeling and move from response through cycles of materials, exploration, incubation and creation. It is through this process that I discover the essence of what is true for me.
