Encaustic and Light and Black Cloth, Installation Size 15' x 11' x 8'
2000, No longer in place
A difficult piece to understand in two dimensions--Journey was designed for people to walk through. The installation consisted of wax globes hung from the ceiling forming a spiraling path into and out of the room. Black cloth provided the backdrop for the glowing forms.
I would love to revisit this piece given the right space and some funding.
