A piece that deals with my personal struggle with depression. This piece was begun during a very precarious period in my life and at the time the piece really reflected that. My mother called my attention to how much the piece had changed as I got better. The piece definitely took on a more hopeful tone.
This is the first piece to be cast in a limited edition of 15.
I took it with me to the 2005 Florence International Contemporary Art Biennial.
